Stress Awareness & Management Workshop

This one day workshop looks at the underlying causes of stress, how it manifests and stress management techniques. Each delegate completes a Stress Profile questionnaire to identify his/her personal levels of stress. This workshop could contribute towards CPD**.

Focussing The Mind To Win™

This two day workshop is ideal for helping create a positive mindset to achieving goals. During the 2 days, we look at barriers to success and to how to overcome them; creating a positive mindset; understanding the subconscious mind; Personal planning and goal setting. This workshop could contribute towards CPD**.

Personal Strategic Planning

This is a one day workshop looking at helping the individual maximise their skill-set and creating a personal agenda for success. Identifying personal strengths, learning styles and Time Management skills form a key part of this workshop. Whilst there is no pre-requiste for this workshop, attendance on the 'Focussing the Mind to Win™ workshop is highly recommended prior to attending the Personal Strategic Planning. This workshop could contribute towards CPD**.

Medical Qigong

This is a modular course offered over 2 years incorporating the foundations of Chinese Medicine. It is ideal for existing therapists of any Complimentary Alternative Medicines and practitioners of Martial Arts, Tai-Chi and Qigong as well as for those without any previous background or experience.

The course covers specific Chinese Medicine theory as well as fundamental Qigong exercises. It is offered in 3 stages, with each stage consisting of 12 'classroom days'*. Attendance is at weekends (Sat/Sun)* and a certificate is awarded at the end of each stage subject to satisfactory attendance and completion. This course could contribute towards CPD**.

Introduction to Oriental Medicine

This is a short course run over two weekends (4 classroom days in total) which gives an insight into the theory and application of Oriental Medicine principals. The content includes Yin/Yang theory; The 8 Principles; The 5 Elements; The Meridians and an overview of Pulse & Tongue diagnosis. The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as therapists of other disciplines and Martial Arts & Tai-Chi/Qigong practitioners. A certificate of attendance is awarded upon completion. This course could contribute towards CPD**.

* Attendance requirement is from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. There are 9 weekend attendances within a 12 month period. Students are given specific exercises to practice and are required to continue regular self practice of the Qigong exercises between classroom days. Supervision support will be available throughout the course.
